Introduction

Hello, I am a photographer and a model. I moved to NYC last year after graduating from UC Santa Cruz, California. I want to make friends and art/ fashion professionals here in the city. Thank you, Marlena Elise.

Why would you like to join New York Photo Walks?

NYPW, is a professional and serious meet up group. I believe I could contribute and benefit from the group tremendously.

How long have you enjoyed photography?

I have enjoyed photography since I started modeling and taking black and white photography classes in High School. Yet, I fell in love with it when I went to Greece for my summer vacation one year when I was 15. I captured the colors and patterns of Grecian architecture and the mood of each island excited me. And the people were so honest, so real. I had never seen people who looked the way they did in Greece. They dressed differently, spoke different and lived completely different lives than I had ever known. Photography gave me a portal to communicate and learn about the world. Now I enjoy a different kind of photography, I am interested in fashion fused with fine art photography. I want to make my work my own. Along with launching a professional photography business on the side.
