Hello - I was a professional events photographer in Richmond, VA, but now live in New York and photographing for my own pleasure. I adore the city and want to photograph with other like-minded photographers.
I'd like to join NY Photo Walks to be with other people in parts of the city that I might not venture alone to be in.
I've enjoyed photographing for over 25 years, although most of the years have been as a serious amateur.

Hi Anne, I found hin at Skylands botanical garden in NJ, I think it's a skink.
I will definitely be doing more sessions with Mindy and know for sure that we will meet taking either Mindy or RJ's sessions.
Hi Anne, Since our last conversation, I wanted to let you know that I went out with Mindy Veissid at the Conservatory Garden on Sunday. Thank you for recommending her, she was great and I really had a good time. Plus there was only two of us that attended so it was nice and personal. She gave back immediate feedback and advice. I see you will be going out with her as well, hope you have a great time.
I am sorry to hear that the night group did not go well. Unfortunately, it is not until you go out that you know how the leader will be. I signed up for quite a few: the NYC digital photography group, learn street photography, NY photo & safari group, NYC after dark, and NYC photographers. I havenot gone out yet with anyone but if I do and it is good, I will let you know. I also do other workshops and attend classes. Hopefully, one day we can actually meet in person as well at a meet up.
Hi Anne,
I am pretty new to the groups and signed up with many for photography. Have you gone out with any of the groups? It is very comforting to know that Mindy Veissid is a good teacher as well. I can't wait to go out with a group.
Thank you Ann for your lovely comments - it's a fun hobby.
Hi I hope all is well and this is a new year plenty of things going on hope to see you again soon ...
Thanks Anne. :)
I lived on the Hill. I live about 2 blocks away from DNC and about 4 blocks
away from the Capital and about 5 blocks from Supreme Court.
I think the address was about New Jersey S.E. I don’t remember the address anymore.
I left DC around 1995.
I used to work for a Congresswoman from TX. But mostly I worked at
the DNC and couple of national campaigns.
I used to walk around there on the Eastern Market on Sundays.
Get a nice steak once a week from a meat seller.
Hi....I used to live in DC for about 7 years. I miss that medium size city.
